If neighbours witness that the dead was pious Allah forgives him

96) Anas  narrated that the Prophet said: If any Muslim dies and four of his closest neighbours witness that he was pious, Allah says: I approve what you know about him, and forgive him (what you do not know).

(This Haditb is fairly good and reported by Ahmad and AI-Hakim).
