Glad tidings!

Abdullah ibn Mushabbib al-Qahtāni

Let us talk about the vastness of Allah’s mercy:

{Say: “O My servants who have transgressed against themse lves, do not despair of the mercy of Allah. Indeed, Allah forgives all sins. Indeed, it is He Who is the All -Forgiving, Most Merciful.”}

[Surat az -Zumar: 53]

The Prophet (may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him) is authentically reported to have said:

“If the believer were to know what is with Allah of punishment, no one would hope to enter His Paradise, and if the disbeliever were to know what is with Allah of mercy, no one would despair of entering His Paradise.”

[Narrated by Muslim]

This vast mercy stems from might, power, and dominance, not from weakness.

{And indeed, your Lord –He is the All-Mighty, Most Merciful.}

[Surat ash -Shu‘arā’: 9]

I bear witness that there is no god other than Allah. He is the Most Generous, the Most Merciful, upon Whom people pin their hopes.
